24 hours later…

100_0833.jpgLess than 24 hours later we are both able to hang from the bar and do pullups.  No kipping yet but if it was required we could.  It would reopen at least one hand if i did kip.  I salted this morning but don;t think it was necessary.  I also put Neoporin cream on one hand last night. I don;t think it made a difference.  I washed it off this morning and used the cream to massage it into the tear just to keep it from cracking.  You have to understand that i didn’t use alot like most people do.  You coulnd’t even tell it was there.  I am sure any type of moisturizer would work for this.  That is waht i plan on doing for the rest of the week unless it tears again.  The major problem now is keeping it from cracking during everyday activity.  It is important to keep your hand open as much as possible so the skin doesn;t get too tight.  I hope the neosporin cream will help with this.

You can’t tell from the picture but my hands are completely dry, still a little tender but good to go.  Who has been frustrated by puss filled hands after three days of treatment?  Try some salt.  I think it is most important immediatly after getting the tear or after your training session is over.
