    Don’t get too cerebral travis. I know you are a college graduate.

    I’m looking for something simple like a squat clean is a missed power clean which should motivate you to try to power clean everything… at least pull hard enough to try to power it up.
    When you got for max effort you should be forced into the squat. If you aren’t…you need more weight.

    If the end goal is increased power output over varied time domains, then there are benefits to practicing both a heavier squat clean and a lighter power clean. The pwr clean would decrease time, but the squat clean would allow for increased weight.

    Could you make a case for a power clean elizabeth over the conventional Liz? to expand a little, how about a power snatch isabel over the conventional isabel?

    yea, squat clean 700. But, absolutely, i see what you’re getting at; why catch the bar in a full squat when you could catch it in a half squat and, as a result, decrease your time.
