What made you decide to come to BlackBox? I wanted to try big girl work outs.
How long have you been at BB? About a year and a half!
What do you love about BB? The family atmosphere and how everyone has their own personality. It’s like a weightlifting, less-funny, real-life version of Friends.
What have you learned here and what is your biggest achievement? That weightlifting is a very humbling sport. My biggest achievement is that I can now do one pull up. I’ve come a long way.
What is your fitness background? I swam and played basketball through high school. Once I graduated and moved on to college I stuck with hot yoga and got bored real fast. I love that BB makes me feel like I’m on a team again… Even though I never compete 😉
What are your fitness goals? To be able to lift more than Chelsea. And also to touch 100 kilograms and clean more than my body weight.
What is your favorite workout/lift? I love jerking, but recently that’s not been going very well… Power snatches are also the best.
What is your favorite memory at BB? Every smile I’ve brought to Coach Jack’s face is a favorite memory… And also that time I hit myself in the forehead with the bar while I was snatching and almost killed Jack… I’ve never seen him laugh that hard.

What’s your next adventure in life? Pushing through to graduation and saying ADIOS to school forever. AND THE Masters World Cup 2075!!!!!!!!
